Empowering Young Girls in Science: The Women in STEM Club hosted a Public Summer Workshop

On a vibrant Saturday afternoon, the Solon Public Library buzzed with energy as young girls eagerly gathered for the InovatHER STEM Workshop. This event, organized by the Solon Women in STEM Team, aimed to ignite a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among middle school girls, creating a space where they could explore, learn, and connect with like-minded peers and mentors.

The event attracted 25 participants, all of whom actively engaged in the sessions. Feedback from attendees highlighted the enjoyment and educational value of the interactive activities, the comfort of the learning environment, and the inspiration drawn from the guest speaker.
